Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Allevia HK Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website, services, or products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Eligibility and Use of Services

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent to use our services.

  • You agree to use our services solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

 

2. Account Registration and Client Submissions

  • Certain features or services may require customers or clients to register through an electronic form (“e-form”).

  • You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted via e-form is accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • We are not liable for any typographical errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in submitted information, nor for any consequences arising from such errors.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

 

3. Products and Services

  • All product and service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without prior notice.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

  • Medical Disclaimer: DNA Genetic Tests and other Screening Tests are provided for informational purposes only and are not suitable for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Clients should consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cheque and online bank transfer. All transactions must be made in Hong Kong Dollars unless otherwise specified.

  • Please indicate the invoice number when placing your payment.

  • A late payment penalty of 0.1% per day will apply to overdue balances.

  • All prices are exclusive of insurance costs, bank charges, and applicable taxes, including but not limited to goods and services tax (GST), consumption tax, quarantine charges, storage fees, unforeseen expenses, import duties, and value-added tax (VAT).

 

5. Freight, Shipping, and Logistics

  • Freight charges are indicative only and may fluctuate due to peak periods, demand surcharges, or carrier adjustments.

  • The final chargeable weight of any shipment shall be determined and confirmed by the airline.

  • Any additional costs, including but not limited to excess weight fees, fuel surcharges, or handling charges, shall be borne solely by the Client.

  • All shipments are subject to the applicable Conditions of Carriage as defined by the carrier.

  • The Client or Consignee is responsible for providing all necessary documentation, declarations, and assistance required for Customs processing.

  • Lead times for delivery may vary depending on flight availability, Customs clearance efficiency, and other operational factors.

  • We may engage a third-party logistics provider (“3PL provider”) to fulfil shipping and delivery services.

  • The Client acknowledges that shipment-related factors, including Customs delays, brokerage requirements, or unexpected regulatory fees, are outside our control and remain the Client’s responsibility.

  • Once the shipment has been dispatched, we shall not be liable for any delay, damage, or loss of goods or property (including any Product) while in the possession or custody of the 3PL provider.

 

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on our platform are owned by or licensed to us.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

 

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized activity.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or security of our platform.

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.

 

8. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing thirty (30) days’ written notice to the other party. Upon termination, Allevia HK Limited shall be entitled to payment for:

  • All services rendered up to and including the termination date

  • All works-in-progress

  • Any non-cancellable costs, including subcontractor commitments

  • Any deposits or upfront payments made prior to termination, which shall be non-refundable

 

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

  • We disclaim liability for any loss or damage to goods while in the custody of third-party providers.

 

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labour disputes, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or internet outages.

 

11. Data Protection and Privacy

All personal data collected through our services will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

 

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Allevia HK Limited and supersede all prior communications, proposals, or agreements, whether oral or written.

 

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

14. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

 

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
